Overview

To provide and focus on presales activities to support sales in winning new solution opportunities in a way that clearly differentiates the company from other solution providers.

To promote architectural, advisory and high-end consultancy services for customers across the Ultima services portfolio, to include the strategic solutions and vendor technological stack. The role requires assistance with developing and winning new customers digital transformation and IT infrastructure projects and the continued improvement and development of the services portfolio.

The role requires a broad technical knowledge of related IT solutions to enable the definition and delivery of solutions to our Customers IT needs, creating close alliances with the customer, the Sales Account Managers and Directors and the wider services team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning of services and to drive an increase in practice related revenue
  • Customer facing technical presales and development of specific solutions for complex requirements
  • Assist with the creation of formal bid responses and with the delivery of bid presentations
  • Peer review of related proposals as applicable
  • Assist with the definition and delivery of Advisory Services for transformation / migration projects
  • Technical input / direction for complex transformation / migration projects
  • To work with other services teams to develop specific solutions to customers requirements
  • Assist with Ultima internal IT and Business transformation projects as required
  • To have a strong understanding of Ultima’s core products and service offerings and pro-actively keep this knowledge up to date.
  • To participate in Ultima events and seminars as required.
  • To keep up to date with vendor technology and market innovation related to the practice
  • Ensure that all assigned activities are approached and handled in a consistent logical way and, where possible, in line with the appropriate defined Project Office or Company (ISO) quality standards.
  • Develop a strong relationship with key vendors and to create go to market plans.
  • Create & support marketing activities such as writing blogs, hosting webinars and supporting events.

 

 

The role breakdown is 20% Target Billable, 45% Presales and 25% Training / Solution building / service improvements
