Last week, Citrix held their 2021 Field Kick Off virtual event for Citrix employees and the partner community. As with most conferences over the last year, it was a little different to the usual face-to-face experience, however it provided an excellent opportunity to hear about developments for the new year and an insight into what’s coming up.
With distributed working being more relevant than ever before (and looking to stay that way!), Citrix are maintaining their focus on being the vendor of choice for empowering businesses to stay productive no matter where they’re working from. To further support this, Citrix announced their intent to acquire Wrike – a SaaS based collaborative working platform which will add a new set of capabilities to the portfolio.
For many organisations, managing security for a distributed workforce is a key objective for 2021. Through new capabilities including Secure Internet Access (SIA) and Secure Workspace Access (SWA), Citrix are providing organisations with the ability to securely deliver high performance access to SaaS, Traditional and Legacy applications. Aligned with Gartner’s SASE model (Secure Access Service Edge), you can balance the efficiency, performance, security and productivity of your workforce by leveraging contextual access from all devices with an overlay of industry leading security technologies.
A key highlight of the event for Ultima was being announced as the first Citrix partner in the UK to be designated as a Platinum Plus Partner, which recognises our advanced skills and deep customer engagement in Workspace and App Delivery & Security. This further cements Ultima’s position as a top Citrix partner, having also been awarded with Worldwide Partner of the Year and Workspace Partner of the Year for EMEA over the past couple of years.
